Washington Nationals Playoffs: World Series Tickets Available

WASHINGTON D.C. — The Washington Nationals are the hottest team in sports right now. The squad is locked into the World Series, and tickets are already available to see the Nats face off against either the New York Yankees or Houston Astros.

Washington won’t have home-field advantage in the World Series, which means there will only be a maximum of three games at Nationals Park.

The three home games are set for Friday, Oct. 25, which would be Game 3; Saturday, Oct. 26 and Sunday, Oct. 27.

The Nationals squeaked into the later rounds of the playoffs after barely beating the Milwaukee Brewers in a one game Wildcard round. However, in the time since, Washington won a gripping five game series against the favored Los Angeles Dodgers, and then dominated the St. Louis Cardinals in the National League Championship Series.

Pitching, pitching, pitching.

In the first three games of the series against St. Louis, Washington’s starting pitchers put together one of the most memorable collection of performances in baseball history.

Anibal Sanchez, Max Scherzer and Stephen Strasburg all dominated in their outings.

The Nationals’ pitching will give them a chance against anybody, but it will take a full team effort to take down either the mighty Houston Astros or New York Yankees. The Astros and Yankees are both coming off seasons where they won over 100 games.

Seats are already available for all seven games of the World Series, and you can save 10 percent at checkout with the code “PatchTickets10.”
