Vote for America-First candidates this November

OPINION:

As we enter the fall season and gas at the pumps becomes slightly less expensive than what we were paying just a month ago, it’s important to note that now is not the time to spend frivolously.

The economy is in bad shape, and economic policies promoted by the current administration have only made matters worse. It would be wise for hard-working Americans to put any extra money into their savings in the case of an emergency.

The current political climate is far from a safe space, especially if you live in a low-income neighborhood often ignored by our elected Washington elites. Crime rates are skyrocketing, and Democrat politicians like Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman are campaigning on letting violent criminals out of jail.

Police departments are in higher demand, but largely underfunded. Following the summer of violence in 2020, many Democrat-ran cities defunded their police in response to public outcry fueled by the mainstream media. Carjackings and home break-in rates are also skyrocketing, causing unexpected financial burdens on the victims.

Inflation is only going to get worse. Once the federal government has exhausted all of its temporary fixes, we are going to see higher gas prices at the pumps and at the grocery stores.

That’s why it’s important to save our money when we can. We are only in the early stages, and even the Biden administration is starting to see the writing on the walls.

“Inflation remains a problem, and obviously is of tremendous concern to Americans,” Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said during an interview with CBS earlier this month.

Just as we should be reeling back our spending as inflation continues to remain an imminent threat, the federal government should end the reckless spending spree in Washington. Now is not the time to forgive billions of dollars worth of student loans or send billions more overseas. Now is not the time to allocate billions of dollars to a climate initiative that has no clear goals. Now is not the time to be hiring and training 87,000 armed IRS agents to target taxpayers.

Now is the time to put America first.

The past two years have served as a threat to our conservative values of freedom, individual liberty, and limited government. The Biden administration created a corrupt partnership with Big-Tech and the mainstream media to censor information that is damaging to their agenda and has effectively demonized anybody who disagrees with how Biden runs the country.

Violating our First Amendment right to speak freely without government interference wasn’t enough. The Democrats capitalized on every tragedy involving a firearm in an effort to strip law-abiding Americans of our Second Amendment rights.

Expanding the overreaching hand of the federal government requires additional funding, but the Biden presidential campaign promised to not raise taxes on Americans making less than $400,000 annually. Instead of reducing spending in Washington and not sending billions of dollars overseas, the Biden administration is raising tax rates on major corporations, who will, in turn, charge their customers to make up for the additional costs of doing business.

The American people are distracted. We’re working two or more jobs and still struggling to make ends meet while the federal government finds new ways to spend our children out of a future.

We cannot afford another two years of Democrat leadership in Washington. The current administration is out of touch with everyday people who are paying the price of Biden’s failed policies on a daily basis.

Our tax dollars should not be leveraged against us in an effort to purchase votes this November, and this is exactly what this administration is doing. While President Joe Biden may have claimed that the pandemic is over, we have not financially recovered from the government’s unconstitutional lockdowns and radical spending policies.

We should be doing everything in our power to reduce spending, eliminate unnecessary taxes, and award the working class by letting them keep more of their hard-earned paychecks. Instead, we punish the workers and incentivize unemployment.

The upcoming November election will determine our nation’s course for the next two years, and there are America-First candidates on the ballot all across the country who deserve our votes. America-First Republicans may not be promising extravagant spending, but they are pledging to take on the corrupt political establishment and end the reckless Washington spending spree, and that’s what we need now more than ever if we ever wish to return our country back to the path to prosperity.
