A white couple in St Louis pointed guns at a group of protesters who were marching to the home of the city’s mayor to demand her resignation.
Videos from social media show the husband and wife emerging armed from their front door on a private street in the wealthy neighborhood of Central West End. They have been identified locally as Mark and Patricia McCloskey, both of whom are personal injury lawyers. They run McCloskey Law Center from their home.
They proceed to shout at the protesters to “move on” while waving a handgun and an AR-15. One man wearing a ‘Hands Up, Don’t Shoot’ t-shirt can be heard moving the crowd on, and urging everyone to ignore the gun-wielding residents.
