Police: 6 shot, including boy, in Southeast DC

Six people — including a boy — are injured after a shooting Monday afternoon in Southeast D.C.

Five men and the young boy were shot on Wade Road near the Barry Farm Recreation Center around 2:30 p.m., D.C. police said.

The men and the boy are conscious and breathing. They were taken to the hospital.

Police are looking for a gray car that fled from Wade Road to Martin Luther King Avenue Southeast.
