Paris tops 2019 list of world’s ‘most beautiful’ cities, ranked by travel experts

New Zealand is only represented once in the whole list. Photo credit: Unsplash/Getty The 2019 list of the world’s most beautiful cities according to travel writers, bloggers and agents has been announced by FlightNetwork.com.

The French capital of Paris has topped the rankings with New York, London and Venice also placing in the top five.

New Zealand only has one city in the top 50, with Queenstown placed 38th. The southern city was praised for its range of activities and amazing scenery.

“Full of natural beauty, from its lake setting in the Crown Ranges. There’s great cycling and walking trails,” FlightNetwork.com said of Queenstown.

There’s a mixture of ancient and modern cities on the list, from Athens, which was placed 50th, to Singapore in 11th.
