Man Robbed Store Workers Using Pepper Spray: Police

WASHINGTON, DC – A man accused of pepper spraying his victims and then robbing them is finally behind bars. Police said Lorenzo Jordan, 30, assaulted employees at three businesses in Prince George’s County recently. He was taken into custody Wednesday in Washington, DC.

According to the Prince George’s County Police Department, officers also arrested Jordan’s accomplice, Danielle Vallier, 31.. She drove Jordan to each of the robberies, police said.

On Dec. 5, police said he pepper sprayed an employee while robbing another business in the 3000 block of Queens Chapel Road in Mount Rainier. Jordan is also linked to a similar crime in Anne Arundel county, officers added.

Following Jordan’s arrest in Washington, D.C., police said he confessed to all four robberies. He and Vallier are being held in the District awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County.

Jordan is charged with armed robbery, second degree assault, use of a chemical device with intent to injure and related charges. Vallier is charged with armed robbery, theft, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and related charges.
