Italy´s government wins confidence vote

ROME: Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte´s new government won a parliamentary confidence vote on Monday following a heated debate in the country´s lower house.

Out of 606 MPs who voted, 343 backed the new coalition, while 263 voted against while three abstained, according to the official count.
