Ja Morant’s high-flying dunk attempts have become a routine part of his rookie season.
The Memphis Grizzlies guard delved into a new realm of highlights on Saturday against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Morant, the 2019 No. 2 pick, fooled Jerome Robinson with a pump fake, then sent Robinson to the floor as he jabbed toward the basket and quickly stepped back to the 3-point line.
As Robinson stumbled away, Morant paused with a staredown — as if amused by his handiwork — then drilled the 3-pointer.

The slow-motion replay of the shot posted by the Grizzlies caught Clippers guard Lou Williams looking on from afar with the three-time Sixth Man of the Year nodding in approval.
Morant had 22 points and nine assists in the 140-114 win. He is averaging 17.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game.
